Parking brake active (permanent
display)

Displayed if the parking brake operat-
ing lever on the side compartment is
applied.
Danger.
Danger. Do not apply the parking brake
unless the bus is stationary. Always ap-
ply the parking brake before you disem-
bark. On uphill and downhill gradients,
you must also chock the wheels and turn
the steering towards the kerb.

Note:
Danger. Check the hand lever for full en-
gagement. To do so, attempt to press
the hand lever in the "release" direction
without pulling the release ring out of the
detent position. The lever must not move.
Bus stop brake active (permanent
display)

Displayed if the bus stop brake has been
activated using the switch on the instru-
ment panel.
Danger.
Risk of accident. Apply the parking brake
before you leave the driver's area. The
bus stop brake must not be used to park
the bus. Apply the parking brake at bus
stops on steep uphill or downhill gradi-
ents that exceed 15 %.

Risk of accident. Do not apply the bus
stop brake unless the bus is stationary.
