Instructions for installation and use
Mounting of temperature sensors
As standard the heat meter is supplied with temperature sensors
for measuring the supply and return flow temperatures.
The Akva Lux II S-F flat station is prepared for mounting of tem-
perature sensors with M10x1 connection (see photo to the right):
The supply flow sensor is mounted in the sensor pocket on DH
supply (pos A.)
- demount M10 plug (Pos. A)
- insert one temperature sensor in the sensor pocket
- tighten temperature sensor union nut
Mount the return flow sensor in the heat meter housing (pos. B).
Cold water meter(s), fitting pieces.
The substation is equipped with fitting piece(s) for cold water
meter(s).
Fitting of cold water meter(s)
- Close the ball valves on the domestic cold water and the do-
mestic hot water supply.
- Loosen the union nuts at both ends of the fitting piece and
remove it.
- Fit the cold water meter, - remember to insert gaskets.
- After mounting of cold water meter remember to check and
tighten all pipe connections before commissioning the cold
water meter(s).
Hot water meter, fitting piece
The substation can be equipped with fitting piece for hot water
meter.
Fitting of hot water meter
- Close the ball valves on the domestic cold water and the do-
mestic hot water supply.
- Loosen the union nuts at both ends of the fitting piece and
remove it.
- Fit the hot water meter, - remember to insert gaskets.
- After mounting of hot water meter remember to check and
tighten all pipe connections before commissioning the hot
water meter.
Meter display (reading of meter dials)
For easy reading of the meter display, the lower right corner of the
front insulation can easily be removed, as shown in the photo to
your right.
