    IP55 rated protection index with class B insulation class. Casing/Structure The unit casing used in A5RT-C series is made of zinc coated galvanized steel sheets. It is further coated with an electrostatic powder coat, oven-baked for a tough and lasting weather resistant fi nish. Zinc plated screws are used to further reduce the possibility of unit rusting.

Special adjustment may be necessary to suit local requirements. Before using your air conditioner, please read this instruction manual carefully and keep it for future reference. This appliance is intended to be used by expert or trained users in shops, in light industry and on farms, or for commercial use by lay persons.

    Service and Maintenance Service & Maintenance The design concept of the rooftop unit is such that all servicing can be done from the side and back of the unit. Upon removal of side and back panel, all the electrical “terminal box”, fan and motor assembly and compressor are easily accessible.

    Troubleshooting Troubleshooting When a malfunction of the air conditioner unit is detected, immediately switch off the main power supply before proceeding with the following troubleshooting procedures. The following are common fault conditions and simple troubleshooting tips. If any other fault conditions which are not listed occur, contact your nearest local dealer.
  • Page 52 Troubleshooting Error Code When the system is on and an error occurs, the ON/OFF LED on the LCD panel will blink and an error code is shown. When the system is off and there is a thermistor error, the ON/OFF LED is off but the error code is still displayed.
  • Page 53 Troubleshooting Phase Protector The unit with Scroll Compressor can only rotate in one direction. For this reason, a protective device (phase protector) is fi tted to prevent incorrect wiring of the electrical phases. When the three phases are not connect- ed correctly, the phase protector operates, and the unit will not start.
