10-53. TROUBLESHOOTING.
TABLE X-X ENGINE OIL PRESSURE GAUGE
Trouble
Cause
Remedy
Excessive error at
zero.
Excessive scale error.
Excessive pointer
oscillation.
Sluggish operation of
pointer or pressure
fails to build up.
Pointer loose on shaft.
Overpressure or
seasoning of bourdon
tube.
Improper calibration
adjustment.
Air in line or rough
engine relief.
Engine relief valve
open.
Replace instrument.
Replace instrument.
Disconnect line and
fill with light oil.
Check for leaks. If
trouble persists, clean
and adjust relief valve.
Clean and check.

10-55. FUEL PRESSURE GAUGE. (PA-32RT-300)
10-56. GENERAL. The fuel pressure gauge instrument is mounted in the cluster on the
instrument panel. This gauge is connected to the fuel system at the injector fuel inlet fitting.
