Labelling the preset
stations

— Station Name

You can label each preset station with up to 12
characters (Station Name). The Station Name
appears when you tune in the station.

Press TUNER BAND to select the band
you want.

Turn the jog dial to tune in the desired
preset station.

Press TUNER NAME.
The text input screen appears, and the cursor
flashes.
Press CHARACTER on the remote
repeatedly to select the desired type of
character.
Each time you press the button, the display
changes as follow:
(Blank space) t A (Upper cases) t a
(Lower cases) t 0 (Numbers) t '
(Blank space) t ...
(Symbols) t
Turn the jog dial (or press V/v on the
remote) to select the desired character.
To enter a blank space
Press M (or b on the remote) without
turning the jog dial.
To enter a symbol
You can use the following 24 symbols.
' – / , . ( ) : ! ? & + < > _ = " ; # $ % @
Press M.
The character you selected in step 5 stops
flashing and the cursor shifts to the right.
Repeat steps 4 to 6 to complete the
entire title.
If you make a mistake
Press m or M (or B/b on the remote)
until the character you want to change
flashes, then repeat steps 4 to 6.
To erase a character
Press CLEAR on the remote while the
character is flashing. You cannot insert
characters.
Press ENTER to complete the labelling
procedure.
