assembly of the OPT3004EVM. This user's guide is available from the TI web site under literature number
SBOU220. Any letter appended to the literature number corresponds to the document revision that is
current at the time of the writing of this document. The latest revision can be found by clicking the link
Table 2 and is also available from the

document by both title and literature number.

OPT3004EVM Hardware

Figure 2 shows the system setup for the OPT3004EVM. The computer runs the graphical user interface
(GUI) software that communicates with the SM-USB-DIG over a USB connection. The SM-USB-DIG
translates the USB commands from the computer into power, I
input/output (GPIO) commands for the OPT3004 test board. The OPT3004EVM does not require any
additional components to operate.
