8.2 Error messages
Error message
The scan stopped because the
main scanner door was opened.
Close the door and restart the
scan..
The scan stopped because the
filter door was opened. Close the
door and restart the scan.

A scanner error was detected.
Please note the error code and
error type.
Please restart the Amersham
Typhoon scanner and control
software, and try to scan again.
Contact your GE representative
if the problem persists.

Meaning
The scanner door was opened
during the scan.
The filter door was opened dur-
ing the scan.
An error occurred during scan-
ning.
Corrective action
Close the scanner door and scan
the image again. Do not open
the door until the scanning is
finished.

image again. Do not open the
door until the scanning is fin-
ished.
Make a note of the error code
and error type. Restart the
scanner and control software,
and try to run the scan again.
