Maintenance actions
Make sure to comply with the instructions below, in order to keep the
device in good working order. Failure to comply with these rules may
damage the machine.
9.4.1
Aqueous solutions
The V|OAK device must be kept away from any aqueous solution such as water,
oil and petrol.
9.4.2
Lubrication of the chain pusher screw
If needed lubricate the screw.
You can use the HHS 2000 ® lubricant from WÜRTH or WD 40.
9.4.3
Iron filings
It is important to regularly remove the iron filings generated by chain sharpening.
Remove the filings on the sharpener, and on the file guides.
To do so, use a brush.
