Options
Options are used to control the presence/absence of certain
features and hardware. There are two ways to change the
option settings. The various option configurations and the
descriptions of the codes are explained below.
Changing a single option:
A single option can be selected with the MENU UP/DOWN
keys and its setting can be changed with the MENU LEFT/
RIGHT keys.

Changing multiple options by changing option word values (a
word is a 16-bit code).
An option word represents a number of different options.
Option number Menu control
The Options Number Menu control has another 2 menu-items
of which both items have several sub-items.
HardWare Option Numbers : 4 numbers of 5 digits
SoftWare Option Numbers
Detailed decription of the options per bit can be found at Figure
8-2 : Software Alignments.
Select one of the 4 HW-option words or one of the 2 SW option
word and key in the new value.
Changes in the options and options word setting are saved
when the set is switched to standby. Some changes will only
take effect after the set has been switched OFF and ON again
with the mains switch.
