Adjusting
oven
T hemostit
Use thetimegivenin yourrecipewhenusingthe
ovenfor the fiist time.Oventhermostats, i n time,may
"drift"fromthe factorysettinganddifferencesin
timingbetweenan old anda newovenof 5 to 10
minutesare not unusual.Yourovenhasbeen set
correctlyat the factoryandis morelikelyto be
accuratethanthe ovenwhichit replaced.However,if
you find thatyour foodsconsistently browntoo little
or too much,you maymakea simpleadjustmentin
the thermostat(OvenTernp)knob.

To adjust the thermosht bob:
1. Pulltheknoboff the shaft,lookat the backof the
knobandnotethecurrentsettingbeforernting
any adjustments.
2. Loosenboth screwson the backof the knob.
3. If the oventemperatureseemstoohot, movethe
pointertowardthe wordsMAW COOLER.If the
temperatureseemstoo cool,movepointertoward
the wordsMA~ HOTTER.Eachnotchchanges
the temperature by about 10degreesFahrenheit.
4. Tightenthe screws.
5. Replacethe knob,matchingtheflat area of the
knobto the shaft.
