# If the P2 error is appearing while the unit has been in operation, check the following points:
• Refrigerant charge.
• Restrictions within the capillary tube.
• Amperage draw in accordance to the "rated current" specification illustrated on the rating plate.
# Check the over temperature protector located next to the three compressor terminals.
Note: This overload is "normally closed".
# Check the CN516 connector plug located on the outdoor main PCB for correct termination &
continuity to the over temperature protector.
