factors would influence the unit performance. In order to make sure the unit has the
maximum possible effect, the following are recommendations:

Keep the room as well sealed as possible, i.e no open windows and minimum
ventilation necessary.

Do not use high power electrical appliances in the room if cooling is required.

Keep direct sunshine out of the room if cooling is required.
3.3 INSTALLATION
3.3.1 Drill the hole through the wall
Use suitable tools (for example a core drill and large percussion/impact drill) that will help
make installation as efficient as possible, avoid excessive damage to the wall and avoid
inconvenience to the user or others.

Drill the wall according to instructions below.
1. Stick the installation drawing (Figure 5) to the correct position on wall with adhesive tape, the
position should be in accordance with the dimensions given in section 3.2 Positioning the
appliance.
2. Mark the centre point of each hole to be drilled by using a pen, small drill or punch.
3. Use masonry drill to make holes - Note: Hole position should comply with drawing. For small
holes use φ13mm drill, drilling approximately 60mm deep. For the large holes, pilot drill and
then open out to φ165mm right through the wall. The large holes must have a downward
inclination of 3-5 degrees, to avoid water flow backwards. (Figure 6 ).
