X.31 is an international manufacturer-independent
ITU standard for connecting ISDN systems to X.25
networks. Packet-mode terminals are supported by
ISDN using X.31 (not INSYS Pocket ISDN Internet).
For channel bundling; provides a higher transmis-
sion rate of up to 128 kb/s (not INSYS Pocket ISDN
Profi).
