1. Installing Windows 7/POSReady 7 (32 and 64 bit)
Requirements
Windows 7/POSReady 7 installation DVD
USB Keyboard and Mouse
External USB CD/DVD drive (if DVD feature not installed)
Configuring BIOS setup
To configure BIOS setup, complete the following steps:
1. Power on the system and enter BIOS setup by pressing the <DEL> key during POST.
2. Enter the 'Advanced' page.
Set the 'OS Selection' item to 'Windows 7' option.

Install the drivers in the following order.
1. Install the Intel INF (Chipset) Driver
2. Install the Intel VGA Driver
3. Install the Realtek Audio Driver
4. Install the Realtek Ethernet Driver
5. Install the Intel TXE Driver
6. Install the USB 3.0 Driver
7. Install the Nuvoton Serial Driver
If USB 3.0 operation is required, an additional BIOS setting must be modified. The USB 3.0 driver must be
installed and a registry patch is required. The USB 3.0 driver and the TGCS_Reg_Edits package are available
from the TGCS support site. Follow the steps below to configure the system for USB 3.0 operation.
To configure BIOS for USB 3.0 operation, complete the following steps:
1. Power on the system and enter BIOS setup by pressing the <DEL> key during POST.
2. Enter the 'Advanced' page.
3. Enter the 'South Cluster Configuration' sub-page.
4. Enter the 'USB Configuration' sub-page.
5. Set the 'XHCI mode' item to 'Smart Auto' option.
6. Press <F10> to save and restart.
7. Power on and into Windows 7, install USB 3.0 driver.
8. After complete install, power on the system and enter BIOS setup by pressing the <DEL> key during POST.
9. Enter the 'Advanced' page.
10. Enter the 'South Cluster Configuration' sub-page.
11. Enter the 'USB Configuration' sub-page.
12. Set the 'XHCI mode' item to 'Enable' option.
13. Press <F10> key to save and restart.
