Network

The default settings are marked with
z MAC address
A unique MAC address as a wireless device is assigned to each camera. Certain access point may require to
register your MAC address onto the access point to permit a connection. For details, refer to the operating
instructions of your access point.

Access Point

Creates or edits the profile of the wireless LAN access point.
Normally, the setup of an access point is performed with [Auto Scan]. If the access point
cannot be detected, follow the procedure below.
Up to three profiles can be registered.
To set up an access point
1 Select [Access Point] with the control button, then press z.
2 Select [New Connection], then press z.
3 Select [Manual Settings], then press z.
The setup screen appears.
4 Set up the following items.
Connection
SSID
Encryption
Password

MAC address
Enter a connection name. Up to 16 characters can be used.
Enter the service set identifier of the access point. Up to 32
characters can be used.
Select one of the following encryption modes: [Disabled],
[WEP], [WPA-PSK(TKIP)], and [WPA2-PSK(AES)]
Enter the password. Up to 64 characters can be used.
