Installing diagonal braces from boom mount to extension table

4) Now that the diagonal braces are fully assembled, swing the diagonal braces
to the underside of the extension table. Mount the 90
sides of the extension table.
5) Mark the mounting holes and drill the necessary holes through the steel
frame of the extension table and the rip fence bars.
Note: It will be necessary to remove the rip fence tube on the front of the ma-
chine to avoid drilling into it. Only drill through the rip fence 90
bar. To avoid interference with the sliding of the rip fence, a countersunk hole
in the rip fence bar will need to be drilled.
6) Mount the rear diagonal brace assembly (A) Fig.5 to the hole drilled in the
rear of the steel frame of the extension table and the rip fence bar using a
hex. bolt, washer, spring washer and hex. nut as shown.
7) Mount the front diagonal brace assembly (A) Fig.6 to the countersunk hole
drilled in the front of the steel frame of the extension table and the rip fence
90
angle support bar using a countersunk head screw (B) (not included),

spring washer and hex. nut.
Installing telescopic boom to the boom mount
1) Install the boom (A) Fig.7 on the two mouting pins (B) on the boom mount
(C) and swing the boom over the table of the table saw.
2) Secure the boom in position using the boom lock knob (A) Fig.8 as shown.
Parallel adjustment of the boom
1) A stop bolt (B) Fig.8 sets the parallel alignment of the boom in relation to the
blade. Adjust the bolt in or out as needed, once the adjustment is made make
sure to tighten the stop bolt hex. nut (C).
2) Secure the boom in position using the boom lock knob (A) Fig.8 as shown.
