Step 4. Remove the LCD module from the upper case in the direction shown.

CAUTION:
Do not pull up the upper case before disconnecting the LCD cable. Otherwise the cable may
be damaged.

Remove the I/O board

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 31
"Remove the battery pack" on page 32
"Remove the LCD module" on page 44
Step 1. Disconnect the cable of the I/O board as shown.
