Step 5.
Remove the LCD bezel.
Remove the LCD panel and LCD cable
Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 31
"Remove the battery pack" on page 32
"Remove the LCD module" on page 44
"Remove the LCD bezel and hinges" on page 50
Step 1.
Pull the two tapes (located on left and right edges under the LCD panel) downwards steadily. With
the bottom edge as an axis, lift up the top edge of the LCD panel.
CAUTION:
Do not remove the LCD panel at this step. The LCD panel is connected by a cable at the back
side. Detach the cable before removing the LCD panel.

Step 2.
Carefully remove the LCD panel as shown.
