WARNINGS
Nortek Global HVAC (UK) Ltd equipment must be installed and maintained in accordance with
the relevant provisions of the Gas Safety (Installations and Use) Regulations 1998 for gas fired
products. Due account should also be taken of any obligations arising from the Health and
Safety at Works Act 1974 or relevant codes of practice. In addition the installation must be
carried out in accordance with the current IEE wiring regulations (BS 7671), BS 6896 (Industrial
& Commercial) and any other relevant British Standards and Codes of Practice by a qualified
installer. All external wiring MUST comply with the current IEE wiring regulations.

  • Page 7 2.5.3 Reflectors. Remove protective film before starting. Reflectors are supplied pre-punched and are universal throughout the VSX series. Starting at the burner end, slide the reflectors through the brackets until they are all roughly in position along the heater, referring to the assembly diagram showing overlaps.

    2.5.6 Canopy End Caps Locate 6 off No.5 torque screws. Position the blank canopy end cap with the end cap flanges facing inwards, beneath the canopy profile at the U bend end & fix with screws. Repeat procedure for 'cut-out' canopy end cap, again ensuring the flange faces inwards.
