H
Hourmeter - Displays total accumulated run hours by default. Displays
trip hours when MODE button is depressed.

Fuel Level - Illuminated bars indicate approximate level of fuel in the
tank. At two bars the Fuel Pump Icon will flash to remind you to add fuel.

Tachometer with Best Cut Range - Indicates engine speed from 1000
to 4000 RPM. The Best Cut Range indicates best performance between
the engine speed and the Mower Deck Height settings.

Mower Deck Height - Illuminated bars indicate approximate height of
the mower deck.
Functions of the Hourmeter (H, Figure 5)
Hourmeter:
• The Hourmeter displays total accumulated run hours by
default.
• It will automatically reset to zero when the meter reaches
1999.9 hours.
Trip Hours:
1. Press the MODE (A, Figure 5) button once to display Trip
Hours.
2. Press the MODE button again and hold for 3 seconds to
reset the trip hours to zero.
Oil Hours:
1. Press the MODE (A, Figure 5) button twice to display Oil
Hours.
2. After the oil and filter have been changed, press the MODE
button and hold for 3 seconds to reset the oil hours to zero.
Air Filter Hours:
1. Press the MODE (A, Figure 5) button three times to display
Air Filter Hours.
2. After the filter has been cleaned or changed, press the
MODE button again and hold for 3 seconds to reset the air
filter hours to zero.
Clock Setting (B, Figure 5)
1. Press the MODE (A, Figure 5) button four times to adjust
the clock.
Press the MODE button again and hold for 3 seconds to
flash the hour.
Press the UP or DOWN button to change the hour. (AM
and PM will change when the hour setting is adjusted past
12 o'clock.)
Press the MODE button once to flash the minutes.
Press the UP or DOWN button to change the minutes.
After adjusting the hours and minutes, press the MODE
button to return to the normal clock display.
Note: If the MODE button is not pressed after five seconds, the
selected display will not reset and the Hourmeter will return to
total accumulated hours.

Maintenance Messages (E, Figure 5)
Low Battery:
• This message will appear any time a battery voltage problem
occurs.
• The display will automatically clear itself after the battery
has been serviced.
Oil Change:
1. This message appears after 50 hours of run time since the
previous reset.
2. After changing the oil and oil filter, press MODE twice to
display OIL HRS.
3. Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds to reset the
timer to zero and clear the display.
Check Air Filter:
1. This message appears after 25 hours of run time.
2. After cleaning or changing the air filter, press MODE three
times to display AIR FILTER HRS.
3. Press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds to reset the
timer to zero and clear the display.
Note: When the LOW BATTERY message appears, it has
priority over any other messages. Service the battery first, then
check for other maintenance messages.
Hourmeter
The hourmeter displays the total hours, trip hours and a digital
clock (Figure 6).

Display Total Hours, Trip Hours and Clock
• Whenever you start the unit, the Total Hours are displayed.
• The Total Hours will automatically reset to 0 after 999.9.
1. Press MODE (A, Figure 6) for less than one second to
display the Trip Hours.
