8.2 REWRITING THE SERIAL NUMBER

Entering a serial No. is required after replacing the FLCB Assy.

The serial number can be rewritten via RS232C by a command input on a PC.
Connection and setting
In addition to the HD-V9000, a PC for command input and an RS232C cable are required.

Use the same baud rate setting as that of the HD-V9000 for the terminal software of the PC for command input.

How to rewrite

Start up the HD-V9000 and enter the product serial input command (EE/3500/DB), using the terminal software of the PC.
You can check the current serial number with the product serial number check command (2QZ).
Note:
After rewriting, turn the AC power once off then back on again. (This validates the rewritten serial number.)
