6.1
General Alignment Conditions
Perform all electrical adjustments under the following
conditions:
Power supply voltage for EU: 230 V
Connect the set to the mains via an isolation transformer
with low internal resistance.
Allow the set to warm up for approximately 15 minutes.
Refer to correct ground when measuring voltages and
waveforms (e.g. for audio signals refer to AUDIO_GND).
Caution: It is not allowed to use heat sinks as ground.
Test probe: Ri > 10 M, Ci < 20 pF.
Use an isolated trimmer/screwdriver for alignments.

Alignment Sequence
First, set the correct options:
Put the set In SAM mode and select "Option numbers".
Fill in the option settings for "Group 1" and "Group 2"
according to the set sticker (see also paragraph
Settings).
Press OK on the remote control before moving the cursor
to the left.
In submenu "Option numbers" select "Store" and press OK.

Software Alignments
This part describes White Point and AmbiLight alignments.
To go to the alignment menu:
1. Put the set in SAM mode. Refer to
Codes, and Fault
The SAM menu should appear on screen.
2. Select ALIGNMENTS and the appropriate submenu.
To store the data:
1. Press OK on the RC before moving the cursor to the left.
2. In the main menu select "Store" and press OK on the RC.
3. Switch the set to standby mode.
Apply test signals from a video generator to the RF input:
EU/AP-PAL models: PAL B/G TV-signal, strength at least
1 mV and frequency 475.25 MHz.
US/AP-NTSC models: NTSC M/N TV-signal, strength at
least 1 mV and frequency 61.25 MHz (channel 3).
LATAM models: NTSC M TV-signal, signal strength at
least 1 mV and frequency 61.25 MHz (channel 3).

White Point Alignment
Use the default values. These are the average statistic values
provided by production:
1. Put the set in SAM mode.
2. Select a colour temperature (COOL, NORMAL or WARM).
3. Set the RED, GREEN and BLUE default values according
to the values in
