3 Funciton BÜCHI Rotavapor R-3000 3 Function 3.1 Terms In these operating instructions you will come across a number of terms which require explanation. 4 Putting into operation BÜCHI Rotavapor R-3000 4.4 Heating bath Operate the bath with tap water or a 1:1 mixture of tap water and distilled water. Never remove the heater from the bath until it has cooled (risk of burning). Only the inside of the water bath is heated during operation.

Always connect the Rotavapor to grounded-outlet. External couplings and extension cables must incorporate a protective conductor.

BÜCHI Rotavapor R-3000 6 Maintenance 6 Maintenance Compulsory inspections and maintenance All regulations aimed at keeping the Rotavapor in good working order must be observed. They include cleaning the Rotavapor at regular intervals and examining it for any signs of damage.
6 Maintenance BÜCHI Rotavapor R-3000 6.2 Function test Regular function checks will reduce the risk of your Rotavapor breaking down and will prolong its useful life. We recommend carrying out such a test once every three months. Assemble the Rotavapor with dry and solvent-free glass com- ponents.
BÜCHI Rotavapor R-3000 6 Maintenance 6.4 Service Only authorized service technicians are allowed to service the Rotavapor. They have undergone thorough professional training and are acquainted with the hazards that ensue from ignoring the safety precautions. Büchi service centers have a model-specific service manual that is supplied only to authorized personnel.
