Menu Banks

Menu Banks
Use menu banks when you need to switch rapidly from one group of settings to another, for ex-
ample when alternating between sunlight and shade.
C SHOOTING MENU > Shooting menu bank
C SHOOTING MENU > Extended menu banks
To store a frequently-used combination of settings:

Select Shooting menu bank.
Press G to display the menus,
then highlight Shooting menu
bank in the shooting menu and
press 2.

Select a bank.
Highlight bank A, B, C, or D and
press J. Changes to settings are
stored in the chosen bank and
are restored whenever the bank is
selected. With some exceptions,
changes to one bank have no eff ect
on the others.
To include exposure options in the settings stored in shooting menu banks:

Select Extended menu banks.
Press G to display the menus,
then highlight Extended menu
banks in the shooting menu and
press 2.

Select On.
Highlight On and press J. In addi-
tion to the usual settings, shooting
menu banks will now store expo-
sure mode, shutter speed (modes f
and h only), and aperture (modes g
and h only).
Shooting Menu Bank Selection (D4)
When shooting menu bank selection is assigned to the Fn or Pv button using the Press + command
dials option for Custom Setting f3 (Assign Fn button) or f4 (Assign preview button), menu banks
can be selected by pressing the button and rotating a command dial.
