Note
If
speaker input wires from a head
unit
are
con-
nected to
t
his amplifier, the amplifier
wil
l
automa-
tically turn on when the head un
it
is tu
rned
on.
When the head unit is turned off, the
amplifier
tu rns
off automatically.
This function may not
work
wit
h some head units. In such
cases,
please
use
a
system remote
control
wire (sold
sepa-
rately).
If
mult
iple
amplifiers
are to be connected
together synchronously, connect
t
he head unit
and
al
l
amplifiers
via the
system
remote
control
wire.@

Solderless terminal
connections
Since the w ire will become loose over time,
it
m
ust
be periodical ly inspected and
tigh-
tened
as necessary.
Do
not
solder or bind the ends of the
twisted
wires.
Fasten whi le making sure to
not
to clamp
the insu lating sheath of
t
he wire.
Use the supplied
hexagonal
wrench to
t
ighten
and
loosen the term
inal
screw
of
t
he
ampl ifier and use
it
to secu rely fasten
t
he wire. Be careful to avoid excessive t igh-
tening of
t
his screw,
which
may damage
the wire.
Connecting the power terminal
AwARNING
If the
battery
wire is not
securely
fixed to the
term-
inal
using the
terminal
screws,
there
is a
risk of
overheating, malfunction and
inj
ury,
including
minor burns.
Always use
t
he recommended
battery and
ground wire, which
is
sold separately.
Con-
nect the battery
w
ire directly to the car bat-
tery positive
((t))
term
inal
and
t
he ground
wire to
t
he
car
body.
• Recommended
wires size
(AWG: American
Wi re Gauge)
is
as
follows. The
battery
wire,
t he grou nd wi re and
t
he optional direct
ground wire
must
be same
size.
Use a wire of 12 AWG to 16
AWG wire
fo
r
the speaker/subwoofer wire.
