If any of the messages below appear on the front panel display of the Unit, check the following table to solve the problem. If
any problem persists, consult your nearest Sony dealer.

Cause
Circuit protector is working
A disc is not inserted or
correspondent to the Unit.
xxx is using the disc in the specific
Unit.
xxx is the name of the Unit.
Party Privacy is set to ON on the
specific Unit.
Intercom Privacy is set to ON on
the specific Unit.
Monitor Privacy is set to ON on
the specific Unit.
Cannot use a specific key on the
remote or enter the Party mode.
Corrective action
Irregular current is output from speakers. Turn off
the power and check the speaker connections, then
turn on the power again.
Insert a disc that is correspondent to the Unit.
Turn off the Main Unit and check the
speaker hookup.
Quit Party Privacy.
Quit Intercom Privacy.
Quit Monitor Privacy.
This operation is not currently enabled.
