Monitoring Other Rooms
(MONITOR)
You can monitor other rooms via the Unit. While
MONITOR is set to ON, the internal speaker is activated
and speakers connected to the Unit are muted. The
streaming on the network stops until the monitor
connection is terminated on the both of monitoring and
monitored Units.

Press the "V" SELECT on the Home Menu, then
press "MONITOR" SELECT.
The Room list appears.

Press any SELECT to select the room you want to
monitor.
If the room you want to monitor is not displayed on
the front panel display, press the "V" SELECT to
display the next page.
The Monitoring display appears, and a connection
with the room is established.

To cancel monitoring, press the "OFF" SELECT.
Note
Monitoring continues until MONITOR is canceled.
To adjust the speaker level during MONITOR
The volume of the Monitor function is independent from
that in audio control.
Adjust the volume with + VOLUME and – VOLUME on
the Unit while MONITOR connection is established.
Excluding a Unit from MONITOR
(Monitor Privacy)
You cannot monitor a room, for which the Monitor
Privacy is set to ON.

Press the "V" SELECT on the Home Menu, then
press the "SETUP" SELECT.
The Setup Menu appears.

Press the "V" SELECT repeatedly until "MONITOR
PRIVACY" appears on the front panel display.

Press the A or B SELECT to activate Monitor
Privacy mode.
"PRIVACY" is highlighted and the Monitor Privacy
mode is set to ON.

Press the A or B SELECT again to exit the Monitor
Privacy.
