4.7. Temperature measurement
Warning!
To avoid electric shock, disconnect both test probes from
any source of voltage before making a temperature
measurement.
1. Connect the K-type thermocouple to „V//mA" and
„COM" jacks
2. Set the rotary function switch to the "TEMP" position.
3. Connect the thermocouple to the object to be measured.
4. Read the temperature value in °C on the LCD.
Warning!
To avoid electric shock, be sure, that the thermocouple has
been removed before changing to another measurement
function.
Note:
By selecting the temperature measuring function (°C), the
display shows a temperature value. This value shows the
internal temperature of the unit and not the ambient
temperature.
A correct temperature measurement it only possible, if a
suitable thermocouple is plugged into the input of the unit.
