USB (UNIVERSAL INTERFACE BUS)

Connect a PC to the AR5001D using one of the remote control connectors.
The USB (type B) connector is designed to connect directly to the USB port of a PC and AUX 1
connector is to connect to an RS-232C serial port of a PC.
The default setting is USB.
All functions of the AR5001D can be controlled by a PC.

USB DRIVER

Before connecting the AR5001D to a PC, the USB driver for the AR5001D needs to be installed.
The USB driver can be downloaded from the manufacturer's website. (Shown Below)

Click "VCP Drivers", then select the device name "FT232B".
The following are the specifications for the communication protocol.
Communication speed: 115,200 bps (default), 57,600 bps, 38,400 bps, 19,200 bps, 9,600 bps
Data: 8 bit
Stop bit: 1
Parity: None
Flow control: None or RTS/CTS
Echo: Off

AUX 1

The AUX 1 is a serial port using an RS-232C cable terminated in a 9-pin connector.
The following are the specifications for the communication protocol.
Communication speed: 115,200 bps (default), 57,600 bps, 38,400 bps, 19,200 bps, 9,600 bps
Data: 8 bit
Stop bit: 1
Parity: None
Flow control: None or RTS/CTS
Echo: Off
