    • Glass panels and assemblies are heavy. Two man lifting is recommended for handling and installation. • Determine positioning of wiring and piping within wall cavities before shower installation. Mark their positions to ensure electrical and piping areas are avoided. • Wear appropriate protective clothing and eye protection during installation. TOOLS REQUIRED SUPPLIED MATERIALS Self adhesive blocks • Silicone Bostik V60 • Self adhesive blocks • Nylon packer packers Nylon packer packers AFTERCARE • The shower must be squeegeed down after each shower. Thoroughly clean weekly with a microfiber cloth, mild detergent and water. Rinse with clean water and squeegee and wiped dry. NEWLINE RECOMMENDS A SKILLED TRADESMAN ACQUAINTED WITH SHOWER INSTALLATIONS IS USED TO ENSURE THE VERY BEST OUTCOME.

    3. Solid fixings for wall mounted plumbing fittings Consult with the plumber. Wet Grade lining: Aqualine Gib. or equivalent “must be used behind all shower installations for compliance” Plumbing: Use a registered plumber for installation all supply and waste items prior to Tray and Wall linings Waterproofing “Profinsh Tile Trays”: This must comply with AS/NZS 4858:2004 and be undertaken by certified applicator and a Producer Statement provided. There is a list of proven systems on our website www.newline.co.nz Tiling: 1. Newline requires the use of complete systems by licenced/trained applicators. Waterproofing, Tile Adhesive, Grouting and Silicone detailing for full accountability and performance requirements. 2. The tiles must conform to gradients provide with the “ProFinish Tile Tray” to comply to NZ Building Code. 3. The line where shower frame sits must be level for an acceptable install of the shower.   • Page 8 INSTALLATION Acrylic 2 sided Layout STEP 1 ACRYLIC • Mark and Install the Two Wall Profiles 23mm back from the outside edge of the tray. Note: This position relies on the Tray and Liner being installed as instructions and the walls are plumb. Use the minimum to maximum table where walls are not plumb or flat. • Drill a small hole through Acrylic liner, Silicone the back of the wall profile and fasten in place. • All details of component assembly can now be followed from Step 2 of the Tile Version Top door rail mounting position 23mm in from Minimum to Maximum outside edge Door Return 1160 to1172mm 879 to 891mm...
  • Page 9 INSTALLATION Tile 2 Sided Layout STEP 1 TILE • Identify you installation measurement from the Table below Mark out the position of the outside of the Wall Profiles. The Base Channels (dotted line) is 2mm inside this. • Apply silicone to back of wall profiles and fasten at grout lines: Please read the below note. PLEASE NOTE: Waterproofing warranties will be void if there are penetrations through the membrane. Use Bostik V60 to bond wall channels to the tiles. Allow to cure as cartridge information.   • Page 10 INSTALLATION 3 SIDED ALCOVE LAYOUT This Diagram covers Acrylic and Tile installations and guidance. • Acrylic Tray: positioning the wall profile 20mm off edge of the tray. • Tile Tray Level entry: Place over the transition line where the decline begins. • Tray with Hob: Position the boundary line 435mm back from outside of finished hob. Top door rail mounting position PLEASE NOTE: Waterproofing warranties will be void if there are penetrations through the membrane. Use Bostik V60 to bond wall channels to the tiles. Allow to cure as cartridge information. All other installation steps can be now be followed in the instruction Steps eliminating the return panel details. Steps below are distinct to 3 Side Alcove applications: Steps run in Conjuction with the 2 Sided instructions.

BEFORE YOU PROGRESS Three Preliminary Guidance Notes Walls or Base out of line If the walls and base are outside Newline specs by 3mm plus obtain a Doc. “Frameless Glass Fitting – Challenging Alignment” for some procedures that may help. These procedures have limitations and will exceed standard times to complete and additional cost. Aligning Door Rail • Assess the Door side for level. A slight fall towards shutting direction is required. • Two options If it is opposite to the above. 1. Pack under either the Return Panel or Fixed Front Panel to correct this. 2. Elevate the Rail Mounting point at the wall. Note: It maybe a combination of both 1 & 2 Assembling of Panels • Return panel has been supplied with Floor Profile attached • Front Fixed panel requires the floor panel to be attached on site. (This is detailed in Step 2 with three actions) STEP 2 •...
  • Page 12 INSTALLATION Tile & Acrylic STEP 3 IMPORTANT: It is critical that the correct clip is used for the install to work Diagram C1 Diagram C2 Corner Bracket CAUTION: Fit Return Glass and Fixed Front glass progressively into the wall profiles. Horizontal scratches will show on the glass profile if fitting requires shifting out. • Assemble both fixed glass panels and install corner bracket to bottom rail. • Align to wall profiles and tray edge. • Tape position of inside and out of corner. • Lift corner, support with 5mm packer, apply silicone under floor profiles at corner. • Lower to tape position, clean excess silicone, remove tape and hold with self-adhesive blocks. STEP 4 Rail mounting attached to wall (Align as layout page 7)

Insert tightly • Fit Door on Top Rail and into lower guide back in place. • Adjust Cams to height and alignment. • Secure door guide to floor profile. • Fit lock Knobs to Door panel. Rollers Lock Knobs (Fit after door is in place) Front buffer seal Deflector seal Diagram G Cut 1860mm high Handle • Rotate cam door adjustment from inside. (Take weight of door when adjusting) PLEASE NOTE: If the Door line is not parallel to the tray the wall mounted Rail bracket can offer limited adjustment in or out to correct this.

Ensure the door has a clearance of 25mm at wall and closing to Return Glass is also restrained by stop.
