OPTION : Modem Port

"3100i":s may on demand be fitted with a modem port. This serial port is
specially adapted to modems.

DATA FORMAT

The serial data format between the "3100i" and a modem is:
1 Start Bit
8 Data Bits
1 Stop Bit
No Parity

CONNECTOR STANDARD

The connections adhere to a subset of the RS-232C standard.
The connector is 25 pole D-sub connected as a DTE connector.
The following pins and signals are used:
