CONNECTING SENSORS

3.1 Screw Terminals

The screw terminals for the current sources are placed symmetrically with
respect to corresponding analogue channels. They are therefore easily and
logically connected to sensors.
The constant current comes out of the "+"-terminal whenever the corresponding
channel is sampled.
It should pass through the sensor resistance and return to the "-"-terminal. This
minus terminal is in actual fact the "3100i" reference ground or as it is usually
called: GND.
The Diff/Gnd switch should be in the Diff position !!!! (Hopefully you had
realised this already.)
