    UNIT SETUP Top above 60cm Place the unit in an upright position on a stable, level surface. (Please ensure unit is not sitting on its own cable) Air outlet Please ensure the unit is a safe distance away Air inlet from walls and furniture (see image on the left).

    OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS ON and OFF Connect the power plug to the appropriate electrical outlet. Press the ON / OFF button to turn the appliance ON. The LCD panel will light up. If the unit has been switched off and on again, it will resume operation with the settings for mode, humidity and backlight from its last use.
  • Page 8 OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS RELATIVE HUMIDITY Press to set your desired humidity level from 40% to 70% RH (at 5% increments) or CO (continuous mode). For example, if 50% RH is selected, the unit will operate and dehumidification will occur when the room humidity level is detected at above 50% RH. After setting the desired humidity level, the indicator and digits on the LCD panel will blink for 5 seconds and then return to display the room humidity level.

    EMPTYING THE WATER TANK 1. When the water tank is full, the indicator light blinks and the unit will stop operating. 2. Do not move the unit or remove the water tank if the machine is still operating as water may leak, damage the unit or cause an electric shock. 3.

    CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE OPTION Knockout A hose with an inner diameter of 12mm can be connected for continuous drainage: Hose 1. Use a screwdriver to remove the knockout at the back (on the tank). Attach the hose to the connector through the hole. 2.

    TROUBLESHOOTING The following conditions are normal: The compressor will stop or rest for 3 minutes every time the unit shuts down or is plugged in to the electrical outlet. This helps ensure a smooth start for the dehumidifier. 2. The unit works within room temperature of about 5 ~ 35ºC. It may stop operation when the room temperature is out of this range or when the air inlet or outlet is covered.
