Do you choose a correct cell phone booster for your house?
A cell phone could use different frequency band at different locations, it is very
important to confirm if your cell phone works on same frequency band as the cell
phone booster.
If it confirms that you purchase a wrong booster for your house by doing the test below,
please feel free to contact us at Support@SolidRF.ca, we will assist you to swap for a
correct booster.
Please be patient to do several tests around your house and check if all test results are
same. If there are more cell phones in the house, please do the test on all cell phones.
For iPhone
1. Dial *3001#12345#, then press Call button.
2. Press 'Serving Cell Info'
3. Check 'Freq Band Indicator'
You also have the dBm signal strength reading on the top left corner.
For Android Phone
Option 1: Settings > About Phone > Status or Network > Signal Strength or Network Type.
Option 2: Download and install the app: LTE Discovery, tap 'SIGNALS'
