You cannot record the index screen.
If you press the EDITSEARCH buttons in the pause mode
Memory playback stops.
If you press the DISPLAY button in the standby or recording modes
You can view memory playback and the file name indicators in addition to the
indicators associated with tapes, such as the time code indicator.
