7 - Fault finding

IntelliTrack

FAULT
IntelliTrack steers slowly or erratically.
IntelliTrack has non-linear steering or is not
following the tractor's track.

PROBABLE CAUSE
Air in system.
Front potentiometer bar/springs move
erratically.
Front potentiometer springs are not parallel.
CONTROL/REMEDY
Vent the Intellitrack cylinders - see "Venting the Steering
Hydraulics"
Re-arrange the spring setup, so that the potentiometer bar
moves freely.
Refit springs to parallel position and check potentiometer
reading - see "IntelliTrack Front Potentiometer Calibration".
