6. Procedure to Remove Fan Motor and Fan Rotor

Procedure
Step
Removing the front grille in
accordance with "Removal
of Front Grille".
Removing the
El. compo. box in
accordance with "Removal
of El. compo. Box".
1. Removing the fan motor
1 Insert a Phillips tip
screwdriver into the air
outlet and remove the
screws fixing the fan
motor and fan rotor.
(The screws can be
removed without
removing of horizontal
blade.)
Remove the 2 screws

on the bearing cover (1)
and (2) and dismantle
the covers.
3 Take out the fan motor
sideways.
2. Removing the fan rotor
Removing the heat
exchanger in accordance
with "Removal of Heat
Exchanger".
Remove the 2 screws

to dismantle the rotor
cover.
Pull the fan rotor out.

Removal Procedure
Warning Be sure to wait for 10 minutes or more after turning off all power
supplies before disassembling work.
