About Factory Resets

A factory reset on the NL1901ACV returns all settings to the default settings as it was when shipped from the

factory.

Important –

It is particularly important to perform a factory reset after upgrading the NL1901ACV firmware to ensure the firmware

installation is completed correctly.

There are two methods that can be used to perform a successful factory reset:

Use the NL1901ACV's graphical user interface (GUI) to complete a factory reset.

Manually perform a factory reset using the reset pinhole at the back of the NL1901ACV.

This guide will explain both methods to complete a successful factory reset.

Page 2 Web Interface Factory reset Log in to the web user interface Connect a computer and the NL1901ACV using an Ethernet cable. (A yellow Ethernet cable was provided with your NL1901ACV). Open a web browser (such as Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox), type following address into the address bar and press Enter.
Page 3 Click OK to confirm the reset. The NL1901ACV will reboot. Page 4 Manual Factory Reset Ensure the NL1901ACV is powered on. On the back side of the NL1901ACV, there is a small hole in the plastic with the word “Reset” printed at the bottom.
