The window kit and exhaust hose must be installed in order for the unit to work correctly in COOL
mode and AUTO mode. The window kit and exhaust hose should not be used while the unit is in FAN
mode or DRY mode.
The window kit has been designed to fit into most vertical and horizontal window openings, not
including casement windows.
STEP 1
1a. Extend both ends of the
exhaust hose approximately 6 in.
1b. Screw the window kit adapter
onto one end of the exhaust hose
counter-clockwise.
1c. Screw the exhaust hose
connector onto the other end of the
exhaust hose counter-clockwise.
STEP 3
3. Open the window or door
to adjust the length of the
Window Kit to fit the opening. If
necessary, mark the kit and cut
one end down to properly fit the
opening. (We recommend using
a hacksaw for this process.)

*Window Kit Adapter
Extension (if necessary)
*Window Kit Adapter Extension is an optional part that
can be used on window sizes that require a longer
connection between the window and the exhaust hose.
4. Attach the Window Kit Adapter to the Window Kit.
Attach the Window Kit Extension Adapter to the Window
Kit Adapter if necessary. Close the window tightly. Your
Portable Air Conditioner is ready to go.
NOTE: When using the venting system, keep the Exhaust
Hose as straight as possible. The Exhaust Hose can be
shortened, but increasing the length of the exhaust hose is
not recommended. DO NOT use an extension cord with your
Portable Air Conditioner.
NOTE: The Portable Air Conditioner above may differ from
the unit described in this manual. The above directions and
images show general directions for Perfect Aire single hose
Portable Air Conditioners.
