Change near gain, far gain

This sonar lets you adjust near gain and far gain separately.
1. Press the MENU/ESC key to open the main menu.
2. Click [Gain Setting].
3. Press the H/V/S key to select the [H1] or [H2] tab.
4. Click [Near Gain Distance] or [Far Gain Distance].
5. Click
6. Click [Quit].
7. Click [Near Gain] or [Far Gain].
[Near Gain]: Adjust sensitivity in area closer than [Near Gain Distance].
[Far Gain]: Adjust sensitivity in area further than [Far Gain Distance].

The setting range is 0.0 to 10.0. Setting "5" does not correct the gain. Use a setting
lower than 4 to lower the gain, or use a setting higher than 5 to raise the gain.
9. Click [Quit] on the setting box.
10. Long-push the MENU/ESC key to close all menus.
Note: When a school of fish is located on a long-range setting (about 800 meters)
and is approaching own ship, do as follows:
1) Adjust the tilt to keep the school of fish in the center of the sonar beam, name-
ly, the school of fish is displayed in strongest colors possible.
2) Confirm that the fish echo is displayed in the same color as it approaches.
3) If the color suddenly changes to weaker colors as the fish enters mid and near
distances from your vessel, the near gain is improperly set. Increase the near
gain setting to prevent weakening of colors.
