System Options

The functionality of the imageRUNNER 1400 Series can be expanded by
installing the following system-related optional accessories.
A. USB Direct Print Kit-K1
• Enables the user to print PDF files directly from storage media plugged
into the USB port.
• Available for the imageRUNNER 1435i (feature is standard on 1435iF and
1435P)
• Requires license activation via the LMS.
B. Barcode Printing Kit-D1
• Provides the ability to print 1D and 2D barcodes on output.
• Requires PCL Printer Kit-BA1 (for imageRUNNER 1435i).
• Requires license activation via the LMS.
C. PCL Printer Kit-BA1
• Supports the PCL5c/6 emulation printing solutions.
• Supports printing in true 600 x 600 dpi resolution with the Canon PCL6
Printer Driver.
• Available for the imageRUNNER 1435i (feature is standard on 1435iF and
1435P).
• Requires license activation via the LMS.
D. PS Printer Kit-BA1
• Supports the PostScript 3 printing solution.
• No additional memory is required.
• Supports printing in true 600 x 600 dpi resolution.
• Available for the imageRUNNER 1435i (feature is standard on 1435iF and
1435P).
• Requires license activation via the LMS.
E. Send PDF Security Feature Set-E1
• Enables the user to encrypt PDF and Digital Device Signature PDF files,
as well as set a password to send them safely to a file server or e-mail
address.
• Enables the recipient of a PDF or Digital Device Signature PDF file to
verify which device scanned the file.
• Available only for the imageRUNNER 1435iF and 1435i.
• Requires license activation via the LMS.
