5.1 Mounting on a U-rail

WARNING
Voltages up to AC 250 V on the terminals of the module!
Danger to life through contact with live components!
Use the housing FDCH221 if switching voltages >DC 60 V (ripple <10 % of
average value) or >AC 30 V (peak value max. 42.4 V) on the outputs.
Ensure that the cables are not supplied with voltage during installation.
The modules can be installed directly or in an additional housing. The additional
housing FDCH221 must be ordered separately.
NOTICE
Impairment of module function due to dust or humidity
The only situation in which the housing FDCH221 should not be used is if the
module is installed in a closed electrical cabinet or in a control panel
When installing the module on a DIN rail, proceed as follows:
1. Insert the two mounting feet FDCM291 supplied into the module.
2. Press the module's two mounting feet against a U-rail TS35 until the mounting
feet engage (see figure). To make sure that the LEDs remain visible at all
times, the housing cap is transparent. Pick a suitable mounting position,
ensuring that the LEDs will remain visible at all times during operation.
3. Connect the cables to the corresponding terminals.
4. Secure cables on module with cable ties.
