This appliance is set up for connection
to HK town gas (HKTG) (see label on
the appliance).
Appliances set up for connection to HK
town gas have an external gas governor
MDG ELITRE (model-no. EL-125,
pressure setting at 10 mbar) included.
Connecting the hob
The hob is supplied with a conical ½"
gas connection point for connection to
one of the following:
– Rigid connection with isolation valve
– Flexible connection, maximum length
2000 mm.
Unsuitable sealants may not be leak-
proof.
Connections must be sealed using
appropriate sealant.
Use approved gas tubing bearing
EMSD approval marking (such as: 機電
工程署批准 EMSD APPROVAL GTXXXX)
for connection to appliances, or other
appropriate methods accepted by
EMSD.

Safety Ordinance of Hong Kong, any
gas installation works including the
installation of appliances and
connection tubing, must be
undertaken by registered gas
installers who are registered for that
appropriate classes and be
employed by registered gas
