Tighten Aircraft Belt
Push down firmly on the
child restraint. Reach
through the forward facing
belt path and pull on the free
end of the lap belt to tighten.
Check Belt Tightness
Grasp the child restraint
at the belt path with one
hand. Push and pull the
child restraint from side to
side, forward and back. The
child restraint should not
move more than 2.5 cm (1
in) and the aircraft belt
should not loosen.
NOTE: If it moves more than
an 2.5 cm (1 in.) or if the
aircraft belt loosens, try
reinstalling the child restraint
or try another seating
location.
Secure your child in the
child restraint.

in the front seat of a vehicle equipped

airbag.
This infant restraint must always face the rear of
the vehicle and be in the reclined position when
the infant is less than one year old.
