To lock the child safety lock, insert a
key (or screwdriver) into the hole
and turn it to the lock position.
To allow a rear door to be opened
from inside the vehicle, unlock the
child safety lock.
WARNING
Rear door locks
Use the rear door safety locks
whenever children are in the vehicle.
If a child accidently opens the rear
doors while the vehicle is moving, he
or she may fall out.

Liftgate

When you open the liftgate, you will
see a space where you can load the
cargo.

Opening the liftgate

The liftgate is locked or unlocked
when all doors are locked or
unlocked with the key, smart key or
central door lock/unlock switch.
CAUTION
Liftgate lift
Make certain that you close the lift -
gate before driving your vehicle.
Possible damage may occur to the
liftgate lift cylinders and attached
hardware if the liftgate is not closed
prior to driving.

transmitter or smart key is
pressed for approximately 1 sec -
