4.1.8 Security Menu
This section lets you set security passwords to control access to the system at boot time and/or when entering
the BIOS setup program. It also allows you to set virus protection at hard disk boot sector.
Supervisor Password Is/ User Password Is
It shows the preset supervisor/user password. (read only)
Set Supervisor Password/ Set User Password
Enabling
Supervisor Password
requires a password for entering Setup. The passwords are not case sensitive.

Pressing <Enter> at either

Confirm New Password:

Type the password and press <Enter>. Repeat.
Password on Boot
Choosing [Enabled] requires a password on boot. It requires prior setting of the supervisor password.
If the supervisor password is set and this option is disabled, BIOS assumes the user is booting.
