Mode switch

Perform setting of the S-LINK system. I/O SET 0 to 3 are for setting input / output. SA 0 and SA 1
are for setting the number of input / output points.
Setting is read in only once when power is supplied to PC/AT. Changing the mode switch setting
during operation is ineffective.
System set button
Press the system set button to read and memorize the connection condition of S-LINK I/O
devices. Later, it is possible to check abnormality using this as the basis.
Note: If you press the system set button when ERROR 4 occurs, the error is released. However, if the cause
of the error is not rectified, the error address is, from now on, missed out from the checked items.
(This address is treated as unconnected.)
Transmission indicator (Green)
It blinks when communicating I/O data with S-LINK I/O devices.
(Normal condition: blinking, abnormal condition: off)
Error indicator (Red)
It lights up when an error occurs on the S-LINK system main / branch cable.
Notes: 1) When ERROR 1 alone occurs, the short-circuit protection between D-G is operative. Release the
short-circuit protection function by rectifying the cause of the fault after switching off external
power supply. (The short-circuit protection function is maintained during the period in which the
power supply is on.)
2) ERROR 1, 3 light up when the external power supply is off.
3) ERROR 4 is held on. It can be released by supplying power either to the S-LINK system side or to
the personal computer PC/AT once again. Although release can also be obtained by pressing '
System set button', in this case, refer to the note given in '3. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION'.
