The bearings from the gearbox crank-
cases can be removed using generic
extractors.
•
Heat the primary shaft bearing area on
the base of the gearbox crankcase and
the secondary shaft area on the gear-
box crankcase cover very well with a
hair dryer. It will then be possible to re-
move the bearings by knocking the
crankcasings on a surface. If necessa-
ry, use a dummy ball bearing extractor.
•
If necessary, remove the screws securing the bulkheads located in the crankcase to be able
to extract them.
