Model FC-170 is a multipurpose
digger with a broad range of ap
plications. It is specifically de-
sisned to fill the eap between hand
disging and heavy duty earth mov-
ing. The back hoe is us€d to die
trenches, sump pits, Ioundations,
laterals, gasoline and oil reseroir
pit8, general excavatioD, truck
loading, and pavemeDt reooval.
The back hoe is designed for
maximun ease ofcontrol, comfort,
and visibility. A 190" co'tinuous
swing of the bucket is provided,
qith a 122 foot digsine depth. The

equipment is quickly set up, being
ready for disging in seconds after
arrival at a new job site. Hydraulic
laydown shifts the back hoe up and
over the rear axle for safe travel at

Buckets for the back hoes are
available in sizes from 14 inches
to 30 inches in width. Special
ejector buckets, that automaticaly
force wet, sticky soil from bucket
while dumping, are available. Also
