5 Connections
BOB-10A subwoofer
1) Switch off the subwoofer and the units to be connected before making or changing the connections. As
signal source, audio units with line level output (e.g. mixer, preamplifier) can be connected to the inputs
via XLR and 6.3 mm plugs, balanced and unbalanced. Alternatively, unbalanced RCA jacks are
provided. The inputs are designed for stereo signals (R = right channel, L = left channel). When
connecting a mono device to the combo inputs, only use the left jack.
2) At the balanced XLR outputs LINK OUT the input signal fed through is available. This output allows
connecting the input of another active speaker system for additional PA applications.
3) Connect the passive satellite speakers to the speaker outputs (TO SATELLITE LEFT/RIGHT). Up to
four satellites per subwoofer output can be operated in parallel at 4 ohms. The speaker signal is simply
looped through to the next satellite via the rear screw terminals. In doing so you can easily set up 2.1, 4.1
and 8.1 configurations.
4) Finally, connect the supplied power supply cable to the corresponding input and the mains plug to an
outlet (230 V, 50 Hz). The subwoofer can also be operated with 115 V, 60 Hz. For this purpose, set the
voltage selector switch to the 115 V position.
